Background

The current Braemar Scout Group was re-launched fairly recently following an absence of many years in the village. The Cubs and Beavers started in September 2006, and the Scout section in September 2007. At present we have approximately 45 young people in the 3 sections in the age range from 6 to 14 yrs. We have a nearly equal mix of boys and girls who live in the local area from Crathie in the east to Inverey in the west, as well as Braemar village.

We provide a wide range of instructive and fun activities, with a strong focus on outdoor activities when the weather permits, including camping. Also, we are active in supporting and participating in many local community events.
